I have struggled with this disability for the better part of my life ever since I was diagnosed at the age of 21.  Since then I have learned different study habits I learned that I’m not stupid, my mind just processes information differently.  I was inspired as a computer technician from a man that taught me everything he knew.  I have been in the computer industry since 1997 in fact I built and configured my first computer before I went to school.  with Bi-polar disorder it is harder for me to learn than it would take you.  I went to college and I have my associates with A+ certification along with web site design and network security. I have always been infatuated with viruses and Trojans and how they root themselves into your system so sly.  It's been a lifelong goal to learn the sneaky ways of viruses and intruders period so that I could combat it one on one.  Over the years I have had different jobs as a technician, that's one thing I am able to master is the art of customer service. It has always been a dream to own my own business because of my disability. My chances for success are better if I work for myself and not someone else.  With that said over the past twenty five years I have never dropped the book. I continue to use the vast information on the web to learn and grow and master the ability to monitor network traffic packets going in and out and weed out the vulnerabilities.  My mind memorizes things like road maps, schematics  1’s and 0's. It is the only passion that I have always had in life and now I have been given the opportunity with new grants and what not to start on my own and give it a go. You be the judge whether the next guy is competent enough to fix and configure your PC  so that the vulnerabilities are gone.  I have learned that with more layers of security and a properly configured computer. The intruders have a harder time accessing your information. Even the best virus protection can’t combat the new viruses that come out everyday so that the hacker can benefit. NOPE NOT TODAY! I strive for excellence and everyday learning new things and new ways to block out the intruders once and for all. I won’t sleep until I know that those grimmer little suckers are stopped from entering a system that I get to configure. You can rest assured that with me behind the wheel if it's not 100 percent accurate my work is free.
